According to report linker, the top 10 companies in the US wholesale and distribution industry in terms of estimated IT spending spent the largest portion of their IT budgets on hardware, a segment that accounted for about 27% of the IT budgets among these firms. This was followed by spending on services and software.
Among the top 10 companies, a major portion of IT spending is allocated to internal IT. Internal IT alone accounted for approximately 35% of the total estimated IT spending by these companies. BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. remained the leading companies in terms of IT spending, followed by A-Mark Precious Metals, Inc. and W.W. Grainger, Inc.
