The beta version of Microsoft Dynamics® GP 2013 is now available to partners, Microsoft announced on September 12 at the GP Technical Airlift in Fargo, North Dakota. Current and prospective users can take a look at this version of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 to see the new functionality and deployment options that are available. Spending a little time to see what is new now, can give you a head start when you are ready to implement an upgrade or new ERP software solution.
The new Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 will include the introduction of the GP web client, more than 125 functionality enhancements, and an extension of the rich integration with the Microsoft stack of products. Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 will be the second of the Microsoft ERP products to include a cloud component by using Windows Azure. The beta release of Microsoft Dynamics® NAV 2013 was released in May and is expected that both Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 and Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 will be available to users by the end of the year with a simplified pricing structure for SMB products at release. Microsoft is also planning a pilot program that will offer a pay-as-you-go model for both cloud-based and on-premises deployments.
These beta versions and the anticipated releases of the Microsoft Dynamics suite will offer new choices to businesses. Cloud-hosted, on-premises, and hybrid options will provide businesses with the ability to use this powerful ERP software in a manner that best matches their needs and fits the budget. Deployment choices will lead to greater collaboration and communication amongst regional or global businesses, with customers, and with field personnel. Businesses can also leverage mobile technology to further improve productivity for employees who are not often in an office setting.
